CLEAR MONEY RULES

Know the price before you agree to go.

Test the booking process from start to finish. Every test payment and insurance record is clearly labeled. Stripe and an insurer are not connected to this simulation.

Test checkout is active — no real payments or insurance. Practice choosing a helper, reviewing the price, signing in, and sending a test request. The helper can accept, propose another time, or decline. Payment authorization, insurance issuance, refunds, and helper payouts are simulated; no card or bank details are collected.
YOUR TASK. YOUR HELPER. YOUR TOTAL.

See every part of the price before you send.

The review screen shows four separate lines: helper cost, insurance cost, Find Someone To Go service fee, and Stripe processing fee. The service and Stripe amounts come from one planned fee budget, so separating them does not charge either fee twice.

Coverage costs may be budgeted per job, per hour, or as a monthly allocation, so two hours do not always cost twice as much as one. If the insurance price is still waiting on a broker, the screen says so and the final total remains unconfirmed.

TEST ONLY — NO INSURANCE COVERAGE. Any insurance amount shown today is a research-based test estimate, not a confirmed premium. Final coverage and any required tax, tickets, purchases, or extra time must be agreed before paid work.

The test estimate you approve is saved with your request. After helper acceptance, the portals show simulated payment and insurance results. A cancelled test shows a simulated release or refund, with $0 moved. View the downloadable TEST ONLY record in My plans.

Cancellation and refund framework

Before a helper accepts

A customer should be able to withdraw a request without a service charge before a helper accepts, subject to any clearly disclosed payment-processing limitation.

After acceptance

The confirmation screen must show the free-cancellation window and any later charge before the customer pays. Helpers must see whether a cancellation produces any payment to them.

No-shows and safety cancellations

Either person can report a no-show. A person should be able to leave an unsafe situation immediately; safety reports receive review before a final payment decision.

Disputes

Both people can provide the request details, messages, timing, and supporting information. Find Someone To Go will review the record and apply the published rule. Payment-provider chargeback rights remain separate.

What must be finalized before launch
